Sharon Wyer, Ph.D. | Psy.D.

Welcome
I'm so glad you're here.
My name is Dr. Sharon Link Wyer, and I believe that growth happens when we pause long enough to reflect, ask meaningful questions, and intentionally move toward the future we want to create.
Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of leadership, psychology, learning, and human development. Whether I am coaching leaders, teaching university students, designing learning experiences, or conducting research, my passion has always been helping people discover their potential and navigate change with confidence.
This website is more than a professional portfolio. It is a place where I share ideas, resources, research, and practical strategies designed to help individuals and organizations thrive in an increasingly complex world. Here, you'll find insights on leadership, organizational effectiveness, learning design, coaching, psychology, and the future of work.
Outside of my professional life, I am a lifelong learner, researcher, author, educator, and proud mother. Many of my greatest lessons about resilience, growth, and leadership have come not from textbooks, but from real-life experiences, relationships, and the challenges that have shaped my own journey.
Whether you are here to explore coaching opportunities, learn more about my work, discover new ideas, or simply connect, I hope you find something that inspires you.
Thank you for visiting. I look forward to being part of your journey.
Warmly,
Dr. Sharon Wyer
About Me.
Leadership is not developed in theory—it is shaped through experience, reflection, and the ability to navigate complexity in real time.
My work sits at the intersection of leadership, learning, and psychology, helping leaders strengthen how they think, communicate, and lead in environments where clarity is not always immediate.

I hold a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, along with a professional coaching certification earned through an intensive 18-month program. While my work is not clinical in nature, I apply a psychological lens to leadership—helping leaders recognize patterns, navigate challenges, and address the roadblocks that impact performance.
With more than two decades of experience across healthcare, higher education, government, and corporate environments, I have designed and led large-scale leadership development initiatives, supported organizational transformation, and coached leaders at every level—from emerging leaders to senior executives.
I have partnered with Fortune 500 organizations, universities, and federal agencies to design leadership programs, build internal leadership pipelines, and support organizations through growth, change, and operational transformation.
